Formerly known as OilStic, OilLinx™ is a recycled synthetic fibre sorbent that outperforms every competitor on the market — and leaves no trace behind.
From deployment to full remediation, OilLinx™ operates as a closed-loop system that collects, contains, and processes contaminated material — with oil extraction and recovery capabilities in active development.
OilLinx™ material is distributed over the affected area using our deployment unit in positive pressure mode — mobile or skid-mounted.
The Challenger switches to vacuum (negative pressure) mode, collecting saturated OilLinx™ product from the spill site efficiently.
Excess water is safely drained from the collected material and returned to the environment — clean and uncontaminated.
Saturated OilLinx™ is transferred to the remediation stage for processing.
Our proprietary machinery processes saturated OilLinx™ to extract and recover captured oil, regenerating the material for reuse. OilLinx™ can be regenerated 3–4 times depending on the hydrocarbon absorbed.
Once OilLinx™ has reached the end of its reusable life, the saturated material is used as supplemental fuel in cement kilns — completing the closed loop with zero waste to landfill.
